Just one question...what location are the weddings being held now and is it going to change by the end of the year? I am getting married in 3 weeks, so just curious where the location is going to be. Ana told me it changed but she didn't tell me where.
Sorry I have been MIA for a bit.. she said it would be moved (if you are looking at ocean) to the left side of the resort where the kayacks are located now.. She didnt say what date it would be changed though.. My suggestion is to call her directly- dont email. I will send a recap of my spreadsheet I made for my wedding so everyone can get an idea of what was told.. I am having my wedding at DRC for sure.. Paradisus is just much older.. SO EXCITED!!!!

Hi everyone,

I asked Ana the cost for someone to attend the wedding from a hotel outside the resort and she sent this to me

The day pass is as follow:

Half day $ 55 USD per person

Full day $ 110 USD per person

I dont want to take more of her time so does anyone know what a half day is? Is this like for example 4 hours only or set times?

Thanks!!

Hey ladies - I know we've had some discussions about the golf - I spoke with my TA yesterday and she's speaking to the resort today to get this situation figured out. We're SO ANNOYED about this! I can't ask my guests to pay $195 for golf after we told them it was "free" with a $35 cart rental fee. This is seriously driving me nuts! On top of that, those of my guests who have booked already show "Complimentary golf" on thier confirmation...of course now we have two different courses showing for our guests...what a mess! I'll let you know if my TA is able to get anywhere with them. I'm fuming...thanks for letting me ventcensored.gif

I would like to have a white boquet and have the bridesmaids carry orange. I'm thinking about having the guys wear khaki suits with a turquoise tie. And I've picked out my bridesmaid dresses (in mermaid): David's Bridal - Short Chiffon and Charmeuse Dress with Flower Applique Detail

I'm going to bring artificial flowers for the bridesmaid boquets.

As of now, we are planning on having the wedding at the gazebo, and I'd like to have a couple of gazebo corsages, along with a nice alter centerpiece. But I'm at a loss for color/flower ideas for those.

What about you?
I am not sure yet-- I am going to try to figure it all out this weekend.. But I am looking to do something similar-- bm's carry orange and me white. I really love tulips- so I may go that way- or stick with tropical flowers. I don't know?? :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
