Also what about bridesmaids bouquets? Thanks!
I attached the document Ana sent me that shows the bouquets which are included in the package. I am having difficulty uploading the other ppt with the additional cost bouquets, so I will try to upload it as a word document.

I sent Ana a picture of what I wanted (http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:T...ly_bouquet.jpg) and told her that I would like 3 smaller bouquets that match it for my bridesmaids. She quoted me at $100 per bridesmaid bouquet and that mine would also have an extra charge as well. Just send her a picture of what you want and she will get back to you on prices.

Ana just sent me another link to a wedding at DRC. It is a small intimate wedding, but I think the pictures are great. I believe the pictures were taken by the professional photographers at the resort (not the wedding photographers, the photographers that are there for the guests throughout the day). I actually really like these pictures. There is something about them that I really like, the photographer really capture some emotion in a lot of them....

We have decided to charter a private catamaran sunset cruise in lieu of a rehearsal dinner. The resort is all inclusive, and again I do not feel it is necessary to pay extra for food! Friday night before the wedding day we are taking a bus to Playa del Carmen and we will go on a two hour sunset cruise. It is about $25 a person with transportation, so we opted to give our guests something different in place of the rehearsal dinner. This is just another option if anyone wanted to do something different!
That sounds like fun, who did you book thru? I too like that it is a bit different

I finally heard back from Ana regarding the fire dancers. The cost is USD 1,000 for 6 dancers for 45 minutes, actually not bad in my opinion although funny enough I think 45 minutes might be too long, I though half that time so that the guests dont get bored, maybe its just me.

I have asked Ana to let me know which company it actually is so I can see pictures ahead of booking and will let you ladies know.

Thanks everyone on the advice for the real touch flowers on the beach. I will touch base with Ana and see what she says. So far its just my bouquet so I agree that I believe its probably ok as long as I am not leaving anything behind.

Can't wait to see more pictures of peoples weddings. I just recieved some from Ana that I saw someone posted already from this past Wednesday's wedding. That reassured me a little. I was worried about an bunch of random people being in my photos but she assured me they block off the area so that we wouldn't have others in the pictures.

I think if the 'fake' flowers are your bouquet, it should not be an issue, but if its rose petals that are to be scuttered on the ground pre-ceremony or thrown for your exit, they may have an issue with that, if the plastic goes into the ocean it cant be environmentally friendly. Just a thought.
Thanks Boo! I cannot wait for it to come in and getting nervous since I had to put a rush on it. I guess I want everything done yesterday. LOL

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
