October 2010 Brides?

Runningbride, yes they have travel mugs. That is where I am planning to order mine from.

 

So I approved the final version of our invites this morning. They will be in on June 24, 2010. I am so excited, I love them. The invites are really just a formality because most people responded after they got the STDs though but people like our parents really wanted a formal invite so they are getting one.

 

So the gm outfits are proving to be difficult. FI keeps saying he doesn't care, he's easy..but every time I show him something, he doesn't like it. Ergg, it was so much easier finding the bm dresses than the gm outfits.

Cindy I know what you mean about the GM outfit. My FI says he'll worry about it later and it'll take him one day to find something but I"m not so sure. It took my sister and I 4 months to agree on something for her outfit. That's completely his department though so I can't really worry too much.

 

I ordered my mugs yesterday from discountmugs!!! I used a promo code for 15% so I thought that was quite good. Saved $35! SO excited to get them now!

Hey guys! I'm getting married on 10/2/10 at Dreams Puerto Aventuras! You guys having been chatting for awhile here---I feel very late....LOL! You guys are awesome---so organized and prepared. Got my dress first day out brought it home---just got lucky I guess!! Got a bunch of decorations, OOT bags (nothing to go in them yet) and CD tins----I've got to get moving!!! I way behind the "slackers". Thanks for being here. No one, even FI, wants to talk about the wedding all the time---so glad I have you guys.

Welcome! It doesn't sound like you are way behind and you still have time.

Ha, My FI is the same as the rest of them. He keeps telling me it will take him a day to get his suit so he won't go out till October! I am going to try and convince him to at least go in September!

Hi ladies!! In regards to waiting on getting your FI suits, something to keep in mind is they'll stop carrying lighter weight suits towards the end of summer and all that will be in stock will be winter suits. Once I told my FI that, it convinced him to go ahead and buy one. Check!

Good point Avong, I keep telling my FI that too because I am worried that, even by mid summer it will be hard to find light coloured suits in everyone's size.

I'm in the same boat with FI as most. He doesn't seem overly interested in his clothing. He's planning on wearing linen khakis and a white shirt. He can always wear something he owns already, his loss, more for me to spend!!

Me too! The time is flying by and I feel like I haven't accomplish much. There is just too much to do. I am glad I am not the only one feeling like this

We have been looking at suits for that very reason....they will soon be out of season. I think we are leaning towards khakis with a linen shirt as well, but maybe a colored shirt. We did find a website that looks promising called islandimporter.com. They will do shirts in custom order colors, kids sizes too! Prices are very reasonable.

HA! I told my FI this and since he is getting a black suit he is convinced they will have a lighter material suit for him at the end of September! SOOO stubborn. Oh well, I warned him. He will regret it when he is sweating in Aruba with a heavy material black suit.

You're definitely not the only one! I feel like I should have everything done and I can't even do certain things until I get my final count from my RSVPs and people booking (I don’t care how much you SAY you are going, unless you book then I don’t consider you going). My RSVP deadline is 6/30 and I told everyone they need to book by 8/31. Everyone booked but 5 people. I just want to have everything done so I can breathe again!
