Hey Oct brides!! So my invites went out about 2 weeks ago and I have 17 people booked so far! So exciting! I'm working on picking a photographer in the next few weeks. I feel like I have a ton to do but plenty of time to do it. Almost 6 months to go. Wait, maybe I don't have plenty of time!! LOL

Getting married at Dreams Puerto Vallarta Mexico on October 31st 2010....that's right...on Halloween and on a Sunday. You should see the expressions I get when I tell people. But a good friend was married on Halloween and have been happily married for 12 yrs now, so cant be that bad.

Wow, I just looked at my siggie and realized I am exactly 6 months from my wedding day. Woo hoo. So what is everyone up to. This thread is pretty quite. I have taken care of attire for me, FI, the wedding party, invites are ordered and minister, photog and videographer are booked but that is really it. I really need to start turning my mind to decor, dj, flowers etc. 6 months seems like its still a long way away but considering how fast the first 4 months of planning has slipped by, its really no time at all.

Cindy, this thread is fairly quiet. I'm having a small wedding; no one has booked yet, not even my FI and me, we are waiting for fall sale prices. Our site is booked, we are using the flowers and photog that comes with the wedding package. My dress is in the closet, waiting, FI knows what he wants, hasn't purchased yet though. Invites are out, my wedding ring is being made at present. So biggest priority for me is to book the trip.

Good luck and happy planning everyone!! We are5-6mo until the big day.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
