I also ordered embroidered towels from cotton-fruit! I LOVE my towels. I folded and put a big bow around it. It's so cute! I would love to see your towels!!!

I would love to post them but I'm not that computer savy! Today the forum is going down for the upgrade, I think I read there will be a picture feature. I figure it out when it back up. I love your little chili pepper. We used our monogram.

Thanks! It was bit over the top for us but we really wanted something that was useful and memorable. It was about $11 per towel

(including the embroidery and shipping). For our small group, we thought it was worth it. Check this website -  www.TowelsOutlet.com.

OOOOOOoooo. I love those towels. They look super comfy!

Well I said 'yes' to the dress today! I got the 2nd one that was more in my budget and I am sooo happy I did. I love it more today than I did when I first put it on. I'm obsessed!! I think I've tried it on twice already today.

Sent the passports in this morning too. Man, I'm really on a roll. :)

Now all I have left to do is,  well, everything else. :) It will be smooth sailing from now on I think. Anybody have pics of their wedding dresses they wanna share? I love seeing people's selections= they show a little bit of that person's personality.

Bride Loving CJ and other Punta Cana Brides:

My wedding is in Punta Cana also and I don't know if it would be available at your resort or not but I came across a really neat company that records your wedding live and directly sends the feed to your family and friends who couldn't make it to your destination wedding. I'm debating if I'm going to do it- its a little pricey but I think that our families would really enjoy it and it would mean a lot to them.

PM me if you want the info.

Horay! I would love to see your dress. My dress is being made and should be done by end of August or early September. I cannot wait till I can share some pictures with you all. It's super simple and little over my budget but I wanted very light fabric without the long train. Most brides wanted that but I just didn't wanted to have the long train.

You are on top of everything!!! I am overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that still need to be done. I just ordered my pre-travel brochures from VISTAPRINT. I am not sure what's next... just too many things to do but I keep getting side tracked by other more fun stuff.

Azul Sensatori also offers video feed for one of the wedding ceremony sites. However, I heard the video feed really didn't work. and you don't want to be stressed out about that on your wedding day. You might want to find out if it really works before putting any money down.

It needs to be altered. 5 inches need to be chopped off of the bottom and I'm having my train taken off as well. As soon as everything is done and fits like its supposed to I will definitely post pictures.

I think light fabric is a great idea for a destination wedding. I don't want to be sweating my butt off! Are you having your dress made overseas? I thought about having a dress replicated but it was gonna cost me almost the same amount of money so I decided not to.

What are pre-travel brochures??

Oh and I'm totally with you on spending too much time on just the fun stuff. I'm supposed to be studying for finals- not spending countless hours on BDW. lol :) Its addicting, really.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
