No its never too early!!! Especially with a destination, gives people time to plan and pay for their trip. My invites went out in the beginning of April. As for your dress...Girl you better get on it!!! Unless you plan on buying at a sample sale or off of the rack someplace. I bought my dress at David's Bridal in April and it won't be in until July. They are usually faster then smaller bridal shops. Good Luck!!!! Keep us posted!

As long as you look great and have someone to take the pics, you're golden! That's one (among many of course)thing I haven't done yet.... the BM dress. Lucky for me, I only have my sis to worry about so I'm hoping I can go anywhere and get something!

Ha, I actually wish I was a little bit more of a slacker... maybe I wouldn't be so stressed! At least I only have details (and our rings and his suit) to worry about.

 

eunice.kindred - My invites were mailed April 1st. I don't think it is ever too early to send out invites when it is a DW and people have to save money. AND you need a dress!!! My dress was from David's Bridal and I was lucky and it was here in 2 weeks, but my cousin's dress took over 6 months (she ordered from a small bridal shop).

Yeah I need bags still too! I'm hoping that closer to the end of summer, cute little summery bags will go on sale. If I get stuck and can't find anything, I'll probably just use fun coloured paper bags from Michaels. I am for sure doing travel mugs and I"m hoping to get on that this week... or next wink.gif

I got mine off Vistaprint. I only paid $4.41 for each for shipping and got the bags for free. I wanted to do custom bags and I wanted canvas ones so that's why VP was great for me.

Running bride, I ordered mine from discountmugs.com. I really like them, they are a jute tote and we had them printed. They were about 4.50 each (including the setup fee). The total price was the same for 25 or 50 so we went ahead and ordered 50 even though we won't need that many

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
