I am looking for a recommendation of a place in Riviera Maya to make my wedding cake. I am not happy with the one offered by my resort. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I used Turtle Bay Cafe and they make fabulous cakes/cupcakes and a desserts for reasonable prices. Lots of brides have used them on here and they've gotten rave reviews! They also deliver throughout the RM

Here's their site: "Turtle Bay Cafe and Bakery", Akumal, Riviera Maya, Mexico, full service restaurant

And a post on them I started a while back: http://bestdestinati...om/forum/t39711

Here's the phone number for Les Petit's. If you're in the US you need to add 011-52, (+1 if it's a cell phone)

If you're asking about Turtle Bay -- they pretty much can make any flavor you want. My personal favorite was their tres leches, it was TO DIE FOR!!! Like good sex, hehehe We ended up with a tres leches cake then cupcakes (red velvet, chocolate, white and tres leches). I do know some of their other choices were poppy seed, lemon and carrot with all sorts of fillings.

But truly, the owner Jen is really accommodating, so let her know your favorites. If you're a chocolate lover, I would highly suggest getting their chocolate covered strawberries -- so, so, so good! We had them dipped in milk chocolate and white chocolate, they didn't last long at all. We also had them make an assortment of chocolate chip, white choco chip macad. nut, oatmeal and mexican wedding cookies. All gone by the end of the night!!!

I will have our pro pics of our desserts either by tomorrow or Saturday and will post so you can see
