Quick question now that you have these...are the big enough that if someone wants to throw their towel in with the sunscreen and a bottle of water and take off for the afternoon it will work? That is really my concern...I want people to be able to use them if they are leaving the resort for the day on a tour or something.
yes, ... they are 14" by 16"... if it was a huge towel like a bathsheet the bag would be pretty full but I am happy to think that the guests will probably use them as beach bags :)

We will be giving out OOT bags at the wedding and for something a little more special i have talked it over with my photographer and hwe will be taking pictures of every couple and family on with is (the bride and groom) and one without.....their "Thank YOU" will be a nice picture framed of themselves. I though it would be the perfect way to really capture the moment and create lasting memories....what do you guys think?

I think that's an awesome idea. my cousin did a collage of everyone who attended their DW and the collage included tons of candid pics taken throughout the week. They sent everyone a large collage photo AND a 5x7 picture of the guest with the bride and/or groom at the wedding. It was an awesome thank you gift.

I'm thinking of giving just a simple beach bag with a stadium cup and a welcome booklet, instead of a full OOT bag. Our thinking is that by coming to our wedding, everyone is getting a beach vacation out of it, so we don't have to give such a big wedding favor (plus, our budget is small).

We were also thinking of making a little video montage of pictures of the resort and the wedding, putting it on a CD and sending it to the guests along with the Thank You cards. Would they appreciate such a video?

I think that is a great idea! Odds are they will all be in some of the photos, so it will make a cool keepsake for them as well....easy for you to personalize the labels for not a lot of cash. This is a cool keepsake I think.

That was my plan for them as well. Thanks! The other ones I have been looking at are on discount mugs and the best I can get them down to for my numbers is $2.77 USD, so $.99 is a big savings!

Funny thread. It's true, I wouldn't want a bunch of gifts with someone elses name on it, but the reason of giving SOME of the gifts is so that people will remember your day. I will definitely have some monogrammed items, but they will be balanced out with items that will be practical for the guests as well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
