Affordability. We wanted a place that as many people as possible could afford to join us and still feel like an amazing get away. Since most people are coming from the East Coast, it made it clear. We were looking at Virgin Islands, but the airfare eliminated it.

We were looking into turks but it was too much. Since,we have kids that are very important to us on both sides of the family our main thing was for us the resort to be kid friendly, AI, and affordable. Once we started looking at the stipulations in other countries vs JA it just seemed like the right choice. Another main reason for us was that since we met in Jamaica in June of 2008 we decided that it would be awesome to go back and get married there, we are actually getting married on the same day and close to the same time that we met.

We chose JA because we wanted a destination that was affordable that appealed to all age groups for fun, and that all-inclusive was indeed important! We both love the beach, and to travel so a destination wedding was the best option for us!

We choose Jamaica because we got engaged there.. We didn't get engaged at the resort we are having the wedding at. We chose RMB because the WC's got back to us right away with any question we had. It may have taken a day or 2, but that is nothing compared to what I experienced with other resorts I contacted. Also, my photographer Brian Nejedly said the RIU has beautiful weddings! We're so excited! Congrats to all of you other ladies that chose Jamaica..you will not be disappointed. Jamaica is beautiful and who can resist an all inclusive deal?

We picked Jamaica because we love it there!! My finace is Jamaican, so to have his family see us get married, Jamaica was the only option! I have been to Jamaica about 10 times and it is so much fun. I love that it is beautiful there and FUN!! Other islands are beautiful but do not have the nghtlife as well. Ochie is great for beauty and fun times. Love the clubs there, you can party with the locals! No other place to get married at even entered my mind!! Great choice.

we chose jamaica because we're both jamaican. my fiance was born in may pen and i was born here... to jamaican parents.
we both have family in jamaica. it's easier for us to get married down there b/c its harder for them to come up to canada.

can't wait until september... the entire family is so excited. can't wait.

Jamaica is also the first trip that we took together. My FI was also born in Jamaica. We love the island and never considered another location. It's a short plane ride, fairly inexpensive, has numerous all-inclusive options, and only 3 of our 24 guests have visited the island.
