Okay Ladies...Ceremony chair decor

Recommended Posts

I just had a thought...I don't have time to do it right now as it's nighty-night for me...but could you do a reverse google search by dragging the photo into a google search box, and seeing if any version of the photo would lead you back to a craft/instruction sheet or something?

I'm wondering the same.  I'm so in love with it, but it looks difficult.  Maybe the ruffles are already in the fabric?  I don't know...

Excellent idea!  I often forget you can search images on google.  I popped it in there and am now looking for instructions.  Haven't found them yet, but I did find a few other ideas some might like:

Goodness, I love the ruffled chair cover! I want to do something special for the bride and groom chair to make them stand out a bit more, but the rest of the chairs will have white sashes on them. Maybe I could do ruffles or flowers to our chairs.

I'm also thinking it might best to do something really fancy for our two chairs at the reception, then something simpler for the guests. I'm not crazy for the typical chair covers and want something more unique than just sashes.

Although I love, love, love those ruffles, I don't understand the instructions for how to make them and feel they are way beyond my skill level as a terrible seamstress and only somewhat crafty person. I've been looking for other ideas and like these:

700

700

700

They're all still in the maybe pile, mostly on account of me not feeling so sure I can pull off such projects, but this next idea is in the YES pile!

700

I'm going to attempt to make at least 2 of these. If they go well, I may make them for all the chairs, but I know they'll be time consuming, so I'm starting with bride chairs only. I'm scouring eBay now for silk petals.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
