I'm really not into chair covers so what else can be done to ceremony chairs to make them more festive

You could put bows on them, or you could hang some flowers on the sides of the chairs that go along the aisle, maybe decorate the chairs with ivy?

I am tying an organza bow around mine with a flower tucked neatly in the knot

I'm thinking about something like this for my aisle chairs:

I'm making tulle pom poms to hang on the aisle chairs. 1 big pom pom on each.

This was what we did at the AHR, but some variation would work on ceremony chairs as well.

Since the picture is a little small we secured a stem of orchids to the back of the chair

I LOOVE LOOVE this but it is way more expensive to rent the folding chairs than to do banquet chairs so we will be going with chair covers unfortunately.
