Jill, maybe give it 1 more week? Perhaps you are retaining water or you are on the verge of losing? Try to maybe stick it out for 1 more week to see what happens?

I admit the core phase hasn't been as fast or rewarding as the priming phase (this week I only lost .4 pounds). I have given the core phase 3 weeks and so next week I'm definitely switching it up to low carb, low carb, low carb, low gi, low gi, high gi (removing one high GI day and replacing it with a low carb day)...

How's the cheat day going? So far I've gone out for breakfast and had most of a cheese omelette, some home fries and 1/2 a bagel with cream cheese. Fat city!!! :)

Enjoy the rest of your day :)

I'd give it another week too Jill. And don't forget ladies, a healthy weight loss is losing between a half pound and 2 pounds a week. Those .2s and .4s really do add up. My former WW leader called those mortar. They help hold the bricks together to make a strong wall.

I had to basically have a cheat day yesterday, even though I'm in the middle of the Priming Phase. It was my niece's first birthday party and my SIL decided to have a chowder competition. (We came in second.) I decided to just enjoy the day and the chowders and get back on track today. We'll see how weigh-in goes on Tuesday.

Jill - sorry to hear about the gain, you might be like me and your body just doesn't process carbs very well. I noticed for myself, that whenever I do anything BUT low carb days, I gain. It sucks but you might be in the same boat as me. sad.gif

I managed to lose .6 lbs this week, woot! cheesy.gif I'm now down 10 lbs officially since starting this diet!!

great job Kathy - update your ticker girl!!!!! cheesy.gif

I SO struggled this weekend. It was a cheat weekend for me - yikes!!!!! We got a new home and we were working there all weekend so the eating wasn't the greatest. I mean we did pizza friday night, which wasn't horrible and sat was my cheat day, so whatever. Yesterday, I still kinda cheated so I feel bad! I'm scared to get sucked back into the bad eating habits. I didn't weigh myself this week as I wasn't home so I don't even know if I lost anything. sad.gif Back on track today - thank god. The bad eating from this weekend upset my gut, it didn't like me too much!

I hope that everyone else is doing well. I don't want to give this up, it's just a rough time right now!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
