that's so awesome Kristy!! cheesy.gif the two of you are doing amazing! isn't so much easier to follow the diet when someone else is doing it with you? I know that I wouldn't be doing so well if FI wasn't helping me out. It's sure nice to have the support at home as well as here!

Great Job Kristy! It's so great when you get to the point where you can have fruit again. Tomorrow I'm back to low gi/gl days, can't wait!

I just ran my butt off at the gym for 45 minutes, my legs feel like they're going to fall off.

It's funny you girls have someone at home doing the diet with you, I don't have anyone doing the diet with me (even though hubby could use to lose a few), however, I won't let him get anything that I really want until cheat day. I told him 3 weeks ago that we weren't having chinese food until my cheat day and made him wait the whole time, lol! And no pizza, maybe that will be this coming cheat day. At least he adheres to the rules, even if he's not participating. Our daughter was even looking forward to my cheat day so that she could have ice cream again, lol!

lol Jill. that's so cute about your daughter! Even though your hubby isn't following it per say, it's at least nice that he's not bringing in the junk until cheat day!

I just want to say that I can't believe that I'm starting my 9th week already. I also can't believe that I've lost this much weight in this short time - probably goes to show how much weight I actually had/have to lose! lol I really wish I would have started this WAY earlier than what I did. At least I still have about 3 months until the wedding so I'm hoping to lose a few more pounds.

I want to say thanks again to Steph & Kathy. I'm so happy that I got all this information from these 2 lovely ladies. THANK YOU GIRLS!!!!!!!!!! love.gif hug2.gif

Well ladies, I had planned on starting last Monday and, as usual, life got in the way. So I half-ass started, and found that I can't possibly survive! I like chicken (boneless, skinless), and I like green pepper. Lettuce and broccoli I like, but I need some sort of sauce over them, and I only like tomato on a sandwich. So for snacks, I'd have cheese sticks and baby carrots. That's it. And for meals, a chicken breast with green pepper lol As you can see, not much choice. So instead, I'm going to follow Canada's Food Guide. But I do want to say that I greatly admire that you ladies are sticking to this, because you're all doing great! I just can't possibly do it, I need carbs! lol Not a lot, but I definitely need some.

Jill, great job getting through the priming phase!! The worst is over!

Now you're never more than 6 days away from a cheat day wink.gif

Kristy, congrats on your week 1 weight loss!! You're lucky to have someone to do the diet with -- makes meal planning and such much easier. Keep it up!

I'm so happy that everyone is doing well.

I fear that this week I'm going down. lol It's that TOM and we're getting our house this week. I have a twitching eye again and I feel stressed out. When I get like this, I always want to eat junk. Any suggestions or ideas on how I can beat this??

Don't do it lisa! You're doing so good, just keep it in your mind that cheat day is only a few days away and you can go crazy then.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
