aww don't beat yourself up over it! having wisdom teeth removed is no joke! i think if you've been even trying at all to stick to the diet thru all that then you're doing pretty damn well. you know if nothing else you're not overeating! i think if ice cream is what you can handle then try buying the "carb smart" kind that breyers makes. keep up the protein shakes too. and probably the most important thing is making sure you have *something* every 3 hours to help keep your metabolism pumped.

i'm sure you haven't totally ruined your diet. just get back on the horse whenever you're up to it. everyone has off days and you have a good excuse!

jstinemari - I wouldn't worry too much about it. You should be concentrating on healing right now. So once you feel better, get right back into it! feel better soon! *hugs*

Lisa - I read about that cheating stuff from last season, that's SO not cool. Seriously, it's for our health, why cheat? I don't get it. Anyway, I'm glad to hear that it's up and running again. I would have considered it except for the fact that I'll be super busy over the next few months and I know that I wouldn't be able to participate as much as I wanted. Good luck to you girl, I hope you win it all!!! cheesy.gif

As for me and the diet, I'm having a rough time. I didn't lose last week and so far this week, it doesn't look like I'll be losing either. I'm still following the diet and only cheating on cheat days but I think it's because we've been eating out alot. Yes, we still eat only what we're supposed to, but restaurant food isn't always the best thing. I haven't exercised either because well, I'm lazy! lol We've cancelled our gym membership because we're moving and it just won't be convenient for us to go there anymore. I do need to get back into that routine, but right now, it's just not happening! AHHHHHHHHH!!! I'm hoping that I'll get back on track as I still want to lose more weight before the wedding!!

I find that Im hungry....I think maybe Im not eating enough? I probably need to utilize the veggies more. Bring more and munch on those.

I have really severe thyroid issues, so am a little anxious about trying this out. I know my body so Ill know if I can handle it or not.

I did get to cycling class tonight to. WOOHOO!

For my shakes I picked up some special K protein shake....its good...so its probably not the right kind. LOL It does say its whey protein though...
I was very hungry my first few days too. This week has been much better, it's actually sort of a bad thing because I've been so busy and not as hungry and I've ended up skipping meals, and I know we're not supposed to.

I have a little over a week until my first cheat day, yippee!! I can't wait, there is a package of cookies in my fridge that has been calling my name for the past two weeks!

Thank you so much.

Jill - I can't believe you've had cookies in your fridge. I would NEVER be able to do that! You're a strong woman!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
