I think he means "plan" like go to the store and buy cheetos on Thursday in anticipation for Saturday.  I plan for sangria and pizza and nachos religiously!

Your luck your husband does it with you Lisa.  Mine kept asking me if I wanted a sandwich or spaghetti on Sunday - I was like "what part of low carb do you not understand?"!!!  He was just being helpful - lol

i dunno ladies....the scale is not moving!  i have not lost a pound since the end of that first week (and am actually up two pounds!), and am now into the third week.  i have not strayed an ounce from that program and am eating good healthy food.  what gives??!

it is getting frustrating.  i haven't even had a cheat day yet and i am gaining :(  ...if i don't start losing again soon, i may have to abandon this program and try to find something else.  BOO!

i was thinking the same thing.  my body may be stockpiling right now due to low caloric intake (i think i am eating between 1200-1500 calories a day)...and i think a good cheat day will get me revved up again, but i think i will wait until friday or saturday.

thanks for your input, amy!

i think that's a good idea too Pam - did you do it?  You also may not be eating enough, sometimes you need to eat more to gain!

Well, I am now down 16.8 lbs.  I am so freakin' happy!!  However, this weekend was a total bust.  On friday, we hosted a BBQ, which was fine because it was our cheat day.  Sat came around and my uncle had a corn roast - hence, another cheat day.  Yesterday started off great but I think FI and I were so exausted that we didn't care and cheated a lot! :(  Back to normal today but I'm so worried that I messed things up.  GRRRRRR!!!!!!!

wow lisa, way to go!

I had my first (scheduled) cheat day on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it!  I know you aren't supposed to weigh yourself the day after a cheat day, but I did (of course), and my weight was actually the same the next day which I took to be a good sign.

I was back on the wagon yesterday and am being very good.  The scale still isn't budging, so we will see what the next couple of weeks hold.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
