Villa La Estancina

Recommended Posts

Has anyone been to these villas before? My w.c/t.a really recommends this resort. But I am not really able to find anyone on here or anywhere that has had their wedding there. Reviews on tripadvisor are all pretty good about the resort/condo. I would just feel more comfortable picking the place if I knew someone that had been there or at least knows someone that has. I am just very indecisive about the place. It does seem to be beautiful. The wedding packages seem to be a little more then the dreams and other resorts in that category. If anyone has any information please email me megjps420@yahoo.com. Or reply to my post.

Also what made you decide on Cabo?

I did not go in resort but I did see it up close as I walked along beach. It looks nice though. I would trust your WC especially if she has done weddings there. I married at Dreams because they are very organized there and there were so many other Dreams brides on this forum who were all very happy with this resort. I picked Cabo for my wedding because it was only 2 hours away and it looked really romantic in pictures.

Hello Megan:

I am getting Married in the resort next to villa la Estancia, that is from the same Resort Group, Villa del Arco. But it is the same Wedding planner (My Wedding Planner is Gretel) They have beautiful pictures from their weddings there and the gardens are beautiful. The most important reasons for me ti choose that resort were that, they are in front of the lands end, and if I want to get married in Cabo, I want that in the pictures, and second because the prices are very affordable. You can contact her to find out more specifics.

I am so happy to find someone that is getting married in the villas. I have not completely decided on if I wanted to stay in the estanciana. B/c both the villas are beautiful. In the villa del archo do they have the whole kitchen and living room condo like rooms? Or is it just like a normal looking hotel (bathroom and beds)? I was planning on doing the all inclusive plan and do not really know why we would want the kitchen and the living room. It seems like a waste of space. Do you have a lot of guest coming to the wedding?? Do you plan on doing the all inclusive plan or the European plan? I am so excited I have found someone staying in the villas. When is your wedding date going to be? If you would like you could email me at megjps420@yahoo.com. I would love to go over some stuff about the decision you made with the villas. Thanks again.

I stayed at Vill Del Palmar during my wedding stay, but choose to get married at the Sheraton. Why? Because we wanted a beach wedding and honestly the beaches by the villa's were so crowded since it's one of the few locations that is safe for you to swim. Along pool side wasn't something I wanted to consider because it just didn't seem that private.

I think it all boils down to how you invision your ceremony. I'm sure whatever you decide it will be amazing, Cabo is so beautiful, that really you can't go wrong.

Hi Megan,

We will be staying at one of the villas at la estancia for our site visit at the end of September. We're getting the two bedroom, so it will be nice to go to costco and be able to eat some meals in the room. We decided to not go with the meal plan because we have several restaurants we want to check out - but I think it's awesome that they give their guests that offer. I'll be sure to post lots of pics when we get back. Also, a good friend has his timeshare at del arco and loves it. According to him, Estancia is a little bigger, nicer, and quieter. All the rooms at la estancia are privately owned, whereas arco and palmar are more timeshare based. Hope this helps...I should have lots of pics up in October.

Good Luck!

Hi Megan:

Well the most important reason I choose the resort are:

1. The view. If I am getting married in Los Cabos, I want the Land's end in the pictures.

2. The accomodations. They have three resort with different options of rooms and prices. I wanted to be sure that my family and friends have plenty of choices for that. From the full kitchen villas for my old-fashioned mexican aunts, who love to cook and hate to eat in restaurants; to the small suites for my couple friends.

3. The town location. The resort is just five minutes from the famous Squid Roe, and Cabo Wabo. We wouldn't want to miss that at all.

4. Finally, My wedding planner. It is crazy, but It just felt right. Gretel is som funny, and so many ideas... I saw a wedding when I went to visit the resort, and it was beautiful, and she was crying, like if she was the bride's best friend. I don't really know how to explain it, but she and I are making such a great team.

Please email me to daisyandjon@gmail.com with more of your questions, I'll be glad to share my experience with you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
