Hi everyone,

I originally thought I wanted STD boarding passes because they were so cute and creative, but I've decided to wait and send them as the invitation instead. I'm now looking into STD magnets. Has anyone bought or made STD magnets? If so, can you please share what company you purchased them through or how you went about making them youself. If you have any pics I would love to see them.

Thanks in advance, Nancy.

I used Fresh Impressions: Specializing in Custom Save the Date Magnets and Invitations - Beach Themed Save the Date Magnets. They have some really cute designs for destination/beach weddings and I liked that their magnets were bigger than the business card size that a lot of places offer. They did a wonderful job - I had my proof within 24 hours and I received my order exactly 1 week after I approved my proof and paid for my order; and that was with the ground shipping! I had never heard of them before (found them after doing a google search), but I would definitely order from them again.

Hi we went through the same thing last week. We started doing boarding pass STD's and changed our minds to save them for the actual invites.

We did STD magnets and postcards through VistaPrint. www.vistaprinta.ca

I can't tell you how awesome they are for pricing. Once you sign up you'll start to get emails offering tonnes of free stuff. So far we have gotten 100 postcards and 50 magnets for free (plus each time you order they offer you more free stuff so I always get one of the free pens and customize it with our name and date on it for the OOT bags.) We also bought one set of 140 return address labels that we customized to make them beachy, and we have gotten three more sets of 140 for free! The only thing you pay for is shipping, so I try to bundle up on my orders so it's not a bunch of little fees.

I made my own save the date image but still need to print them. I need to go to my parents and print them! I bought magnetic sheets from Hobby Lobby. I HOPE they will come out good! If not, i would have to go to vistaprint for my magnets.

Here is my image.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
