I had my wedding in PDC on July 10, 2009. The reception was at The Royal. We hired DJ MANNIA and it was the absolute best decision we made. We had Carlos as our DJ and Sergio as our MC. They were AWESOME!!! I can't even put into words what a huge impact they made on our wedding. Our guests...from all age groups...absolutely loved them. Throughout the night, people kept telling us what an awesome DJ we had, asking us how we found them and we just had so much positive feedback on Carlos and the team. The dance floor was never empty and people told us that they haven't danced that much in such a long, long time. We even had non-dancers on the dance floor. There was a moment where our whole entire party of 60 guests were on the dance floor with their maracas and balloons!!! FUNtastic!

 

We had met with Sergio...a very cool guy...a few days prior to the wedding to just go over a few things. He came to Gran Porto Real to meet with us. We had requested a few songs...only a few...because we really did not want to limit them with what they do best. We also gave him a list of the wedding party to announce during the reception. He did a wonderful job and was such a great MC. All the songs we requested were played during the reception. My husband, a music nazi, requested two particular songs that are pretty hard to find. They found them and even had a better version that even he was unaware of. They were perfect!

 

Honestly, DJ MANNIA is the best of the best. They are the cream of the crop. My guests were still so excited the days following the wedding because of the great reception we had...all thanks to Carlos, Sergio and the team. Till this day, we still hear how wonderful they were with guiding the flow and rhythm of the party. It was just one awesome and unforgettable night!!!

 

Thank you, DJ MANNIA. I only hope that one day I'll be invited to a wedding where you guys will be DJing. Or I'll just have to throw another party in PDC to do it all over again. =)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
