Quick question for those doing a hair flower, is it too much to do a hair flower, a veil, AND a tiara? I don't know if I'm going overboard, I just can't decide.  I've already gotten my flower (eBay), my veil (Craigslist) and now I'm thinking a tiara might be nice to have if I take the veil off after the ceremony.  FYI, I'm planning on wearing my hair mostly down (and putting in extensions to make it look fuller)  They had some really cute stuff today at The Icing and held off on the tiara (bought some earrings and a necklace though).

Being from Los Angeles I sometimes get caught up in the bling of things but imo a hair flower should never be used if you have on a tiara.  It will be too busy and it will take away from one another.  Depending on the size of your tiara you can wear it with the veil for the ceremony and then take them off for the reception and add the flower...bam, best of both worlds :)

For me, that would be too much. Though, it all depends on who you are.  If if fits your personality, then I say go for it!

Thanks for sharing.  Question - are most of you brides wearing a white flower or is anyone going with a color?  I want a colorful bridal bouquet and was just thinking that having a white flower in my hair when most of the flowers in my bouquet will be bright colors might not go together well....

I think I am just going to go with a white one.  I did comtemplate going with a colored one but I think white would look more classic. And like you I want a colorful bright bouquet so it might be to much.

I'm wearing a white hair flower from Kristi Bonnici, an Australian designer.  I was lucky enough to win it!

This is the one I'm getting

Yay!

I know they have a few other contests running (5000 likes on FB to be entered for a $500 draw and a photo keepsake gift) if anyone is interested.  I'm so excited, I can't wait to get it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
