That sucks so much MJKH! I know exactly what flower you bought, I almost bought it too! Then my bridesmaid said she could make it for me, then we decided to make a hair vine.  She made a pretty hair flower for herself though.

So, on to plan "B"...I'm going to head to Michaels tomorrow to see if they have something that can be fashioned into a hair flower...and next Monday I should have a whole bunch of chiffon fabric that they'll be cutting off my dress when hemming it...so I may try to make one myself.  Anyone tried a diy flower like this?

I took my real touch bouquets and bouts and corsages with me.  It depends how you pack them. I put the bouts and corsages in a cereal box and they turned out fine.  A few of my bouquets got a little smushed, but they popped back with a little arranging.

I had initially planned on going with a hair flower-  then after talking with my crafty bridesmaid - we decided to go with a hair vine. My hair vine

My bridesmaid also made a hairflower for herself (it was initially her practice for mine, but she loved it and wore it).  I think she's crying during the ceremony in this picture, but its the best shot of her flower I could find. :)

She also made a dramatic hair flower for her own wedding, that she wore for the reception.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
