We're not personalizing anything that we want people to reuse. You can always tie in the theme with smaller things like mint tins, etc.

Thank you everyone for the opinions! Right now I'm leaning towards doing something generic on the OOT bags themselves, and then personalizing the travel mugs. I don't think many people would use the bags again of they had our names on it, but I think they would use the mugs again regardless of what we print on them.

This is along what the lines of what I was thinking. We have a couple of doctors in our family so we have tons of travel mugs with different pharmaceutical or prescription drug names on them and half of them I don't even know what they are, but I use one almost every morning. Not to mention the Starbucks and Caribou ones I use as well. And you're right - when they look at the mugs, I hope they remember a wonderful vacation with us :)

Google slip insert travel mug and you will see what I am talking about. I might mention that these were less expensive too than personalized ones.
This may be a good compromise - I'm going to look into this :)

We got travel mugs and went the generic way. I know alot of people don't care but after the wedding I didnt think it was necessary for people to walk around with a mug with our names on it!!
