We need to do a bit of preplanning here, to make sure that we get a picture with each and every guest on our wedding day, and we'll print out the picture, frame it, then mail it to the guests with the thank you cards after the wedding.

The only snag I've come accross is where to find these frames that I can fill with sand!
This is a great idea! I have been going back and forth about whether to do OOT bags, I hate getting things from weddings that I never use, so I want to make sure that what ever I do for my guests is meaningful and won't go to waste. I think I might just get some local fare when we get to Jamaica (rum, coffee, etc.)

We are doing OOT for guests staying at the hotel. The bags will include mugs from E-bay, notebooks and pens from the dollar store, hand sanitizer, personalized magnets from Vistaprint (free), a welcome postcard/letter (also free from Visataprint), a postcard, coffee or rum from Jamaica which we will purchase when we get there, and a scented beach themed candle. Someone had a good idea of putting a wrist coil keychain with a badge holder in each bag. I might also include this if I can find some at a good (cheap) price.

We are using the same photo coasters as AnnaC for favors. I purchased them at a good price from e-weddingfavors.com and got the name tags to go with them. I also ordered business cards from Visaprint (free) for the place cards. The cards are plain white with the wedding of (our names) at the bottom. I'll do calligraphy to write in our guests names. We wanted to do a group trip, but the cost will not work with our budget.

I have thought about doing OOT bags, but I have not yet figured out the details yet (like if I will just make one for every room, or per person, or what I will include in them) we will def. not do favors...I just think it would be unnecessary considering we are only having 21-26 ppl & just seems to small of a group to do favors. Anyway, I am def. checking out the OOT threads for ideas, if you're interested I would do the same to figure out what you are going to decide. Good luck :)

Hi! we are doing OOT bags for our guests that do get to make it to Jamaica with us. Then when we get home and do our AHR, we are having Koozie cups made with witty as well as cute saying on them, for each of our guests to use and take home. As far as like a table favor.. we arnt doing those. I really like the idea of little photo albums though.. maybe I can use that too!! Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
