Uggs

Alyssa I vote for short. I've never had tall but I don't want them - the short are so much easier to just throw on, and I think they'd be just as warm because it's really just your feet that need them, not your legs (in my opinion anyway). I resisted the Uggs for SO long but because I take the streetcar to work and I'm often waiting outside at the stop for like 20 mins in the winter, I finally caved and got a pair. They're awesome for the dog park too. I am obsessed with mine now! I'm getting a new pair this year because I've worn my last ones for 2 winters now and they're pretty gross and salt stained. I'll probably just get black again although I really like the gray ones!

I *heart* uggs! I live in them in winter and try to find crafty and cute ways to get away with them at work. Always on snow days!

As many of you know I am a big skiier and live in uggs in the winter. I have the classic tall in dk brwn as my most recent pair.

Alyssa- not sure if I live under a rock! but congrats on your new ticker!!!! I vote for the zipper ones because I think they look way cuter with skinny jeans and leggings. And they do slouch less

As for the sweater-y looking ones with the 3 buttons, those look so wierd on your feet because you can like see your toes and stuff which is a little strange.

But the ones Alyssa posted are leather over the foot so that would prob work a lot better.

Any how for my new pair this year I want some zipper back ones!

OK Girls so i decided to go with the lower ones and i must have the zipper for easy in / easy out.

i love them all but i do prefer the look of the flat top instead of the cushy foot if you KWIM so i went with these...

i love my uggs and they were a lifesaver this winter when i was preggy and living in a house with NO HEAT!! they were the only shoes my fat feet could fit into.

jackson loves my uggs and wears them all the time. he looks so cute because he will be in just a diaper with these big ol' uggs on.

Alyssa- I love pregger ladies in skinny jeans, all belly with little legs super cute, although my MOH was preg this spring and the last 6 weeks her feet were so swollen she could not get her uggs on sad.gif

For some reason the link is not working for me? It just keeps going back to BDW homepage.

Alyssa- I just wanted to say that sometimes during pregnancy your feet grow a 1/2 size to a full size. My shoes are already a bit tight. So, make sure you keep that in mind. It would suck to get your shoes and have them not fit in a few months!!

Erika - i just fixed the link. i already have too much booty for the skinny jeans but i agree - they look super cute on the right preggo bodies!

Kat - Ugg's only come in whole sizes so i always get a 7 but i wear a 6.5 to 7 in shoes so i already have some room so i hope i will be OK! :)

I am in love with my Uggs too. Although I live in AZ and can barely find a cold enough day to wear them, I broke down and bought some when we went to Europe last winter. Holy schnickies they were the only thing that saved my feet from freezing off while walking 100 miles a day. Also, we snowboard and ski a lot so yea! I can wear them on our bus trip to Telluride this winter :)

I love the ones you bought Alyssa! I think this is a good excuse for me to go to Nordies at lunch today.

Heather - i think its b/c i do wear both a 6.5 and a 7 depending on the shoe / brand. like for instance i always wear a 7 in sneakers and boots but generally a 6.5 in heels, especially open backs.

autoj - catch the sale! woo-hoo good luck on your lunch break :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
