Anyone heard anything further about the pricing? I would imagine it's just as high as the Preston Baily collections were, since Martha Stewart is such a big name....

And Bosi, please don't take this the wrong way, but I don't understand what you mean by "They do say that all the weddings will be martha stewart weddings so will I be able to plan what I want/"? As far as I understand, like with the Preston Bailey packages, you will only have the Martha Stewart trimmings if you pay the extra $1000 + to expand the Carefree/Basic package. If you know something more about this, please correct me if I am wrong (or clarify what you meant because I am a little confused). Hopefully, I am wrong!

This is copied from the website!! Yay!

I also read somwhere that there will be a-la-carte options & little additional extras you can purchase the will bear her name!

So therefore, anyone getting married in Sandals (once the PB stuff has finished) will have a Martha Steward wedding. So exciting!

As to whether you can plan what you want, the answer appears to be No. I just spoke with my wedding coordinator who stated that even the basic is a "Martha Stewart" and that therefore it could not be added to other than with other pre approved Martha Stewart options.

Needless to say, I was infuriated, since although the combos are nice, they aren't what I was picturing for my wedding. Thankfully, I had saved email coorespondence from June that I forwarded her where I had requested specific flowers and told her that while I understand there is a transition, that I had booked my wedding prior to that transition and I fully expect to have my pink and orange roses! (Bridezilla moment) Her response was that they would see what the other Martha Stewart options are and then if my boquet isn't included we would "talk with her director".

Will this be available at the Beaches resorts, as well? I am getting married at Beaches Boscobel on February 9, 2010, and am really lost about what to do for my guests, as I have 48 people confirmed! Any suggestions, Jennifer? I want it to be special and still traditional, with the speeches, first dance, reception dinner, etc.

Please help!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
