I really like the having it done in the airport on our way out though, I have a friend who is ordained so maybe I can see if she'll make a quick trip to the airport the morning of for us!

We just went to city hall while we were out of town for work (we happened to have coinciding work conferences in the same area). It was funny - we filled out the paperwork (we actually got comments that we were one of the only ones to fill it out correctly - which was a little scary but then again we did seem to be about 10 years older than everyone else in there) and went down the hall to this tiny room with no windows, horrible lighting, and all of these really cheesy pictures and hallmark quotes on the wall with fake gold frames (I'm sure you can imagine). The women had something stuck in her teeth and halfway through stopped to pick it out (I'm not kidding - we could barely keep from laughing out loud). But she was really enthusiastic! We were so unprepared we didn't even have a ring - I took my engagement ring off (which I still had on) and then he put it back on. Anyway, the whole thing was such a random and funny memory and we like that's it's just our own.

I am curious...I have this image in my head that it will be like the Sex and the City Movie with Carrie and Big..is it really like that?

We went and had cocktails after too. It was fun having this kind of experience to contrast with our more formal wedding.
