Welcome to the forum! Your timeframe is definitely achievable. We're getting married in November of this year and have only booked the venue--you can do it! Best advice I can gice you is to figure out what your budget is before you waste time looking into places that may be over your budget. Your on the East Coast so Florida or an island in the Caribbean is, most likely, your best bet! Search through the various accomodation and site threads which will, hopefully, help you choose a location.

Totally doable, lots of ai include weddings if you book so many rooms, these resorts would be a good place to start. Your time frame is fine for a dw, I planned mine for 40 people in less then 6 months. Check out the budget threads, it will give you an idea of what alot of us girls budgetted. Talk with LadyP, I believe she budgetted for her wedding ( one day in the distant future, lol) a very reasonable amout.

 

By the way welcome, you will love it here in our world of online girlfriends.

Yup, budget. However not necessarily the whole budget, but how much you would like you and your guests to pay simply for accomodations & flight.

Hello Ladies, Thank you for the great advice and my apologies for a delayed response....over the past few days I haven't had much time to continue with my research, but now that I have gotten some great suggestions from you I am getting down to work. Sabina, may I ask which resort in Playa Del Carmen you stayed in when you attended your sister's wedding? Is your sister on this forum...I would love to talk to her bacause Playa Del Carmen was the first location recommended to us. I will alos check out all the other locations that have been suggested - FL and Cali, Negril in Jamaica, DR. All these suggestionssounds sound very interestingl. Courtney, thank you for your very encouraging message :)

As for our budget...we were thinking 10K or under.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
