6 pm in June- Enough time for pictures??

Recommended Posts

Hey all PC brides out there- I originally scheduled my ceremony for 6 pm at the end of June. After reading some threads and talking with a TA I thought about moving it up to 5 because I'm nervous about running out of light for pictures. However I asked, and was told that in order to have a 5 pm ceremony I would have to change the date altogether arg!!!!

My question is does anyone have experience with 6pm ceremonies in June negatively impacting post-wedding photo sessions? I am most concerned about lighting, but are there other issues I've missed?

Thank you all so much!

Amy

Thats depends which photos are important for you !! The ceremony normally I ts 10-15min ,which means you have 1 hour sure ,a professional Photographer normally even longer to 19:30PM. (1h 30 Min ).

A photo session after the wedding of the bride and groom I would make first, later family pictures and wedding Party ect.

sunset is late in june. it's after 8:30PM. The late evening sun is better for pictures anyway.

I live now 11 years here in Punta Cana and you can shoot pictures after 7:30 in june in Punta Cana with the bride and groom on the beach with beautiful colors .8:30PM is to dark sory

Great news thank you! I woke up today considering changing to an even earlier time but your responses have eased my worries! Lrdavis23- you are correct that MP doesn't have package prices yet, but you can look at the prices and features at their other resorts for a general idea. I had to reserve for the complementary package then I will upgrade later. I'm trying to get a good MP thread going- I believe it's titled The New Moon Palace... Come visit for info! Can't post a link from my phone sorry!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
