Can someone call me back?

Recommended Posts

rant.gifI just want to find a nice place to stay in Tahoe the will let us rent out a hall! Am I asking too much for a CALL BACK! Man I have called/emailed several places and I get the run around. I don't want my guests to get the run around. I wish I had the money to get a wedding planner who would deal with all this stuff---ok I am done.

I have a WW meeting tonight other wise I would totally grab a cookie!

a friend of mine got married at a cute little place, I will have to look it up and see where it was. I will be "home" next week let me know if you want me to take pictures of anything for you. I wasn't planning to go to Tahoe, but I am sure I can get up there.

Thanks for the link. We have looked at that place and are actually getting married by Lake of the Sky weddings somewhere on the lake.

I finally heard back from the hotel I was looking at and got catering quotes that are higher than I was expecting so we are on to plan "b" ( or "m" no clue how many times we have had to change it.)

We are going to, hopefullly, rent a cabin/house so we can have people over after the wedding. The hotel was going to charge us close to $40 a person for BBQ! NO way am I paying that.

Has anyone heard of "Forest Suites"? I read reviews on their Hotel and the hotel rooms got poor reviews but people like the suits so that is what we are blocking out.

Does anyone know if there are good casinos close by Tahoe or in Stateline? I have never been so I welcome any advice or hints!

Stephanie, the only casinos are at stateline, the old ceasars, now called Montbleu

then there is Harrah's

Harvey's

those are the three big ones...Harrah's has a great steak house that is at the very top and has a pretty view of the lake.
Montbleu is very modern looking and has a couple of night clubs and bars for nightlife
They all have fun shows to see for evening stuff...and of course gambling!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
