We're going there in May and I think we're going to do our legal ceremony while we are there...one month to the day before our Cabo wedding in June. I still need to contact the WC there to see what we need to do for a simple ceremony for two. I'll post lots of pics of the Four Seasons when I return.

oohh - let me know what you find out! Paul and I are honeymooning in Hawaii (Oahu and Maui) and are getting legally married while we're there. it would just be the 2 of us - we'll probably just get hitched, then have a nice dinner. and maybe hire a photog just for an hour or something (well, if I can't stuff Leigh in my suitcase)

Ann,

Mark and I have been going to the Hawaiian Islands once a year for the 4 years and I LOVE LOVE IT! I have never wanted to go anywhere else and Mark took me to Italy last Oct which was nice but to be honest would rather go to Hawaii then Italy again. We always go to Maui and one other island each time we go. We stayed at the 4 Seasons 2 years ago and it was AMAZING!!! Talk about living the high life! I was working out in the gym with Arnold Shwartzenager yelling "10 more minutes, Maria." I have been to Oahu been not crazy about. I could totally email you the places that you need to go for dinner and ect in Maui. The only reason why I choose Mexico to get married was it is closer and cheaper but I am so looking forward to a trip to Hawaii next year.

My FI and I got engaged at the Four Season in NYC and we decided that we were going to try to go to a four seasons every year in different parts of the world for our anniversary. This is the one we are really dying to go to. We are trying to plan a vacation for the summer but we are torn between doing a site visit to cabo or going to the Four Seasons Maui. Please take lots of pics!! Btw what are the legal requirements for getting married in Hawaii?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
