guilty as charged...but sooo EXCITING!

Recommended Posts

heyyyy all!!

Just wondering if anyone else does this... last week I went to go add something to my registry and remove something else, as I was doing this I noticed that some of my items were purchased and I was EXTREMELY EXCITED! That is so exciting!! I dont know why I think maybe because it actually set in that this is really happening and we are really getting married and people are happy for us and ready to celebrate!!

So I find myself looking at my registries like once a week! just to see if anything else is going on!!!! I dont want that to seem weird or crazy.. Im just way excited.. PLEASE tell me there are other brides out there looking at their registries!?

See I am scrambling to make sure my registry is complete before I send out the invites. I would feel too guilty to know what has been bought already....sure it's fun, but there where is the surprise when you actually open the gifts?

I haven't registered yet, but I have a feeling that I'd be checking often as well :) Although Inked1 has a point that there's no surprise when you actually get to open the gifts?

But I have also read somewhere that it's a good idea to check your registry often in order to make sure you have a good selection of gifts for your guest to choose from. So if in the beginning all of the lower priced items get purchased, and you have guests who try and shop for you later on, you don't want the only thing remaining on your registry to be a plasma tv! The article said you want to keep a range of items in all different price ranges, so there's something for everyone's budget.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
