Thanks everyone, especially Jilly for moving it to a new thread.

My dress was actually from JCrew. I bought it on sale for $150 and had the tailor add in the band for the waist and hem it for me for $70. It was very comfortable and easy to move around in since it doesn't have a train and only has two thin layers under the satin/silk main fabric.

The book I had on the table is made from mypublisher.com with pics of all our guests that we had on our computer. Some of the pics are of us and our guest back 10 yrs ago, so it was really nice to see the old pics. The guests write their messages on it for us. Under the book, I have a glass picture frame for the guests to just sign their name. And the guests wrote little messages, advices, etc (Kiss Often,, Don't sleep angry, Always Share, Be Honest) on the big white seashells for us.

And if anyone has questions, just PM me.

I have also sent multiple pics of bouquet ideas (I just sent another today) and have yet to get any kind of response. I have also e-mailed twice asking for the name of the flower shop they work with...no response. I once e-mailed her and asked her if they work with one specific place whose website I noticed on some of the pics in the files she has sent us. She responded by saying "not anymore", but did not go on to say who they currently work with. I wonder if they (Dreams) does not want us to communicate directly, I 'm sure Dreams gets charged "x" dollars and then charges us "x + y".

I wanted my bouquet to be mango callas, so I had sent Claudia a pic at some point and she responded:

"The calla lilies bouquet picture you sent will be additional cost"

She already told me we cannot bring in outside flower vendors. I had talked to a nice lady that Anny is using and her prices were cheaper and she had some great ideas. Oh well... As long as they get my colours right I will be happy - and if not, I'll get over it :)

We just met with Claudia this last week in Cancun to make arrangements for our wedding in July. She is extremley busy so that is why the slow responses via email. Everyday we were there she was doing weddings and receptions all day. One day we saw her leaving at 11:00 P.M.

About the flowers, they did just switch to a new vendor. We are doing calla lilies as well and they only come in white. If you don't want them in white, the florist will airbrush them any color you want.

Do you happen to know anything about the roses? I want a deep bright pink, but I haven't heard back if they have this color, so I can't make a decision on my flowers until I know.

Paula, she did the same thing to me, I sent her a bouquet I wanted and she said she'd have to get me a quote on how much it would be. But she didn't say if they would deduct the normal cost of the bouquet that I'm paying for with the package.

Your pics are beautiful. It looks like everything was gorgeous! I love your dress it was so pretty. And your husband is very handsome. (That's the word I use when I don't want to offend a wife by telling them that I think their husband is smoking hot. LOL)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
