We have NOT chosen a first dance! So, we are up now picking songs. Here are our choices.

 

1) Beautiful Distraction (kenny lattimore and chante moore) *my favorite

 

2) Moody's Mood (george benson) *tie

 

3) I'm so into you (peaboe bryson) *old school

 

4) The Truth (anthony hamilton) *newer..sultry soul

 

Amazon.com has a clip of each or itunes. Any body out there with the same drama? Walt does not like a lot of "mushiness". Must be a guy thing!

I'm not really familiar with all these songs, but does your guy like to dance? James hates it and wants no mushy love songs, so I narrowed it down two or three I liked, played them for him, he couldn't decide (didn't have any other suggestions), then I told him how long each one was and he picked the shorter one. Same thing happened with the parent dance as well!

 

Which one sounds most like the two of you?

here is my recommendation - dance to each song. You may find that some are longer than you're comfortable dancing to, and others may just not feel right.

 

if you can't agree on one, my second suggestion is to do what we did and make your decision about an hour before you have to do the dance on the day of
