Married at Grand Palladium Jamaica

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the great review, I'm just starting to plan so I'm trying to narrow down some options for a location.

I think Grand Palladium sounds pretty great so far! The pictures of Blue Lagoon are AWESOME!

Hi! I'm getting married at The Grand Palladium Lay Hamilton April 16th, 2013. I am so excited and just starting the process. We have about 500 ppl coming and this whole island wedding is starting to be more exspensive then I thought. We've chosen The Island Pearl package, it's elegant and pretty. My biggest worry right now is whether we bring our own photographer or we use the resorts. We're trying to save money where we can. Any suggestions for this?

OMG! 500 guests?? Well one way to save money is to stop inviting people! LOL

I dont know where you're coming from, but I'm flying two photographers in from my home city (Toronto) because I just wanted the opportunity to meet and get to know my photographer before the big day. Chemisty is important to us!  There are also some very good photographers in Jamaica....  Dean Clarke , Dwayne Watkins , SAAB Wedding (Michael & Olive) as well as Sun Gold Photography.  Most start at $3k and go up. Dean and Dwayne are closer to $2000. It depends what you want.  Good luck girl!!  I hope you post photos after your wedding ... Im getting married there on May 6th 2013 :D

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
