For the boys ages 5 &12, I got them cool dog tags, we have their names, Timothy/Liam, on the tags along with Tenacity, Love, & Pride. We are giving these gifts to the kids on the day of the wedding. I hope maybe this helps.

Sorry I can't help you with where to get the dog tags, we are getting them fro our jeweller, I live in Canada, so I would have no idea in the states where to go, start with calling some jewellery stores. Good Luck.

love those flip flops, they are great! might have to get those for the guys!

For the girls, I am getting them a starfish necklace, a makeup bag, it kinda feels like a beach towel, with a tropical pattern (they are so cute) and some body lotion/perfume things from Victoria Secret

I only had my two sisters in my BP and I wanted to get them something extra special that they would never buy for themselves, so I got them each a juicy terry track suit. I also paid for hair & makeup for them, the moms, my niece, and two of my friends.

For the groomsmen, usher, and friend that played the guitar for our ceremony we bought them ipod shuffles.

I think a really good rule of thumb for BP gifts is to give them something that you would give them for their birthday or another special occasion.

Hello!

I am planning on getting the girls plush white terry spa style bathrobes with their names sewn on in our colors. I also got them all travel jewelry pouches (hot pink and black silk) with their initals (and one for me and my mom!) when I asked them to be in our wedding.

As for the guys - we are still talking about it - some ideas are:

buying their shirts and ties (we are thinking seersucker or linen), Tiffany's keychains with their intials OR my FI was thinking about a Scuba trip on us. Any ideas for the guys would be much appreciated!

I think that the scuba trip is a great idea. I don't think that most guys would be crazy about Tiffany anything but if you want to do something like that, may I suggest a money clip?

I really rec the ipod shuffles. They are very reasonable - only around $70 each

i agree about the tiffany thing but FI thinks the brand should represent value and a couple of them have money clips (which i think are a great idea!) - i like ipod too - especially b/c they will engrave them for free if you order right from apple.com. we have plenty of time on that so we will see what other ideas come up! :)

I paying for each of my BM, Mom, and FMIL to have a day at the spa. I thought it would be something fun for all of us and then I'm getting the starfish necklaces, ring holder, and visa gift certificates for each of them. I know gift certificates is impersonal but I stood up in their weddings last year and I got stuff from things remembered and the only thing I used was the ring holder.

I am a little stuck on this too. For the girls I have starfish necklaces (which...for all you girls looking to get them, I found them on ebay for $0.99 each!!) and cute beach totes from target. I am going to pay for mani/pedi once we get to dreams too. I want to get some small things to fill the beach bags with, but I am stuck on what to get. For the guys...my fi is taking care of that but right now it looks like personalized zippos and cigar holders. We will buy some cigars when we get to cancun to fill them. Oh and we bought their shirts for the wedding.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
