How we got engaged

Well 1st of all we had been dating for 5 years. We had always talked about gettig married and how we should have a destination wedding...just no plans as of yet. Then we were blessed with a great surprise- I was pregnant. We were excited and planning for the arrival of our new baby. I was about 7 months pregnant and my bf said "I had a great day at work. Let's grab some dinner." Then he told me we were going to get some food from one of our favorite bar/restaurants. I was bummed about going out to a bar on a thursday night & that I couldn't even have a beer;( He said no let's go to Rosebud instead (a nice Italian restaurant across the street from the bar/restaurant). We were seated in a quiet little corner. We had a great dinner and then we got to talking about the baby, how we couldn't wait to meet him or her, and how we'd be surprised to see which features of ours the baby had. Then he said how about a 5 year long surprise, I said what? Then he put the box in front of me. I just stared at him, completed shocked. I could not believe what was happening. Then he asked me will you marry me? I quickly hugged him and said yes of course. I could not have been more surpised- he even met up with my dad secretly to get his permission. He picked out the most beautiful Tacori ring ever- more than I ever could have wanted. He suprised the heck out of me- I had absolutely no idea- even though I teased him on the way to dinner that he was going to propose tonight. IDK why I said that- good intuition I guess. And now here we are- 10 more months to the big day!
