Hi Ladies,

My FI and I was thinking about doing a Jamaica wedding but since everyone is having a problem with this concept, my fiancee now would like to do a Las Vegas wedding.

At first, I was not with it because when I vision a Vegas wedding I see cheesy, Elvis impersonator marrying us and that is not what I want!!!

But I'm now with it being that is what he really wants/

So now I am looking for a hotel that would be able to provide the elegant atmosphere that I am looking for.

So if you ladies have any information that may help I appreciate it!!

Welcome to the forum!

For an elegant atmosphere for your wedding, I would look into the wedding salons at the Wynn, Venetian/Palazzo, Bellagio and Mandalay Bay. I found these hotels to have very modern, elegant salons. Also worth checking out on-line are Caesars Palace and Planet Hollywood. On each hotel's website will be an page for their wedding services. From that page you can request brochures to be sent to you via email as a pdf attachment. I would share mine, but the prices are 2 years outdated! I found that I had the brochure emailed to me within 48 hours of my request.

FH and I decided to get married at the Wynn. The packages fit our tastes and our budget better than any other wedding salon on the Strip. Our wedding coordinators have been an absolute pleasure to work with and have made the planning process a stress-free and enjoyable one.

Good luck with your planning. The girls on the Las Vegas thread are always here to help with any questions you may have :)

Hello and congrats!! I'm getting married in Vegas in October and after a lot of searching we decided to go with Caesar's Palace. They have beautiful Chapels to choose from and a gorgeous outside terrace too. I know didn't want the typical cheesy wedding either, so we did vegas beacuse it was reasonable and for our guests to have a great time. Good Luck!

Try looking at their website Las Vegas Hotel Reservations at Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, the have all the info you'll need to know

Hi and welcome to the forum!

I just got back from a site visit (which I will post in another thread), but my FI felt the same way you do about being cheesy. Vegas is anything but.

My FI was so impressed with the classy locations, that he even had to eat his words. My personal faves from my visit were the Wynn and Mandalay Bay.

As everyone else has said, you can find tons on info on the websites. Plus, it is so different from trying to find info out in the Carribean, where you would wait for weeks for a response. Everyone was really accomidating and the locations were really nice.

One more thing...July = REALLY HOT!!!

Congratulations. I am sure you will be able to find the best location for you two. I am getting married on Tuesday at Chapel of the Flowers. It fit our budget and is simple & classy for us. There is a lot to choose from and I am sure you will find a lot of good information here.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
