It's official! Our date is booked! What a feeling.

Wedding Destination: Majestic Colonial, Punta Cana, DR

 

What made you choose this destination? Heard lots and lots of great things about Punta Cana, and the resort is beautiful!

 

Wedding Date: July 21st, 2010

 

What made you choose this date? FI is on a 2 week shutdown and close family & friends are teachers.

 

Have you decided on your wedding colors? If so, what are they? No, haven't decided.

 

What is something unique about your wedding? Everything is unique to me! its so different from a church wedding!

 

Tell us anything else about yourself and/or your wedding: I have been engaged for a year and am so so happy to finally set a date and location. FI and I reallly wanted to do something different from what everyone else is doing, so here we go!

What made you choose this destination? We love the beach, and we are having a beach wedding!! :)

 

Wedding Date: July 2nd, 2010

What made you choose this date? We originally wanted Canada Day, but it meant we weren't in the DR long enough sad.gif So July 2nd is the next best thing!

 

Have you decided on your wedding colors? If so, what are they? Orange and Aqua

 

What is something unique about your wedding? We are going to be doing our ceremony in both official Canadian languages!

 

Tell us anything else about yourself and/or your wedding: We are unique i the fact that will be having 3 AHR's!!

What made you choose this date?My Maid of Honor is a school teacher so we had to do something in the summer and my fiance's best madn couldn't do anything the first two weeks of July, but I'm happy with the date!

Have you decided on your wedding colors? Not yet but I'm leaning towrds teals and pinks

 

What is something unique about your wedding? I think the whole destination wedding is unique!

What made you choose this destination? I chose Aruba because its least likely to have tropical storms/hurricanes in July.

What made you choose this date? No paticular Reason we should looked at the calendar and picked it lol

 

Have you decided on your wedding colors? If so, what are they? Yes, Turquiose, White and Gold

Not sure... I really like turquoise.

What made you choose this destination? We haven't put down our deposit yet, but have definately been in contact with the wedding coordinator and our travel agent...im nervous to commit because i keep going back and forth so anyone have suggestions to go thru with it...

What made you choose this date? I will be graduated from college and starting our life together!!

Have you decided on your wedding colors? If so, what are they? green (sage or lime haven't decided yet) and purple

What is something unique about your wedding? All the 7 of the girls in the wedding party have been friends since middle school

What made you choose this destination? I went on a site visit and loved the coziness of this resort. I also liked that you can walk to the clubs so your guest won't feel like they can't leave the resort

Wedding Date: 7-24-2010

What made you choose this date? We originally chose Nov 6 2010 but after the site visit and seeing how windy it can get by the gazebo we chose to move it up to July 24th his moms bday is July 23rd so I figured he will never forget our anniversary. lol

Have you decided on your wedding colors? If so, what are they? yellow is the primary color with hints of orange

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
