Guestbook idea from Michaels

Recommended Posts

I found this on the Michael's website and I think it's a great idea!

Modern Guest Book Cards

It seems pretty simple to do. I was looking for something easy to bring with us as I'm trying not to add extra weight to the luggage and all that. It'll be easy to collect them after the wedding and throw them in the luggage.

My mom and I went to Michael's the other day and found a whole bunch of cute stickers on sale. Tropical flowers, tropical drinks, etc. We plan on adding the stickers to the cards. I have leftover cardstock from our invitations so I'm going to cut them up to make the actual card. I have lots of fancy scissors from scrapbooking, so we'll cut the edges all cute.

I plan on putting one card at each place setting for the dinner and some fun pens on the table. I think it'll go over pretty well and it'll be nice to have. I'll look for a scrapbook or something so that I can add them when I get back home.

Anyway, we'll be probably making these shortly, so I'll post some pics of the finished product!

That is a great idea. I thought about buying a photo album with the cardstock paper in them. I would then put a different colored cardstock page in the middle so that people do not write on it. I want them to sign the book and write a message. Then I will have my friend Ann there to take a picture on a digital camera. I am then going to print the pics and put them in the album on the page they signed. This will help me create a memory

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
