I'm having a wedding with about 80 to 90 people that will be attending so I will be having a cocktail hour and reception after the ceremony. I did hire a DJ Cancun Mania. I will be bringing in my photographer from NY. I will be using the in house Video guy. I'm still waiting for Patty Ulloa to send me his/her web site so I can see some of their work. I will be getting married at the Gazebo. If you have any question please PM or email me at cja1976@aol.com.

Hi,

I will be down there on next weekend, I´ll get back to you with information girls, I hired Ivan from Doremixx, funeverphotos also for video and mariachi, I will meet the florist and all of them.

How much mannia quoted you?, the video guy is from funever? how much he quoted you? do you hired the dancefloor? Ivan says they can set up his dance floor on the beach too. I lovet it is like 70´s style.

I was qutoed $900 for the dj service, $700 for the dance floor and $ 250 for the ceremony services. I have a total of $1850.00. Yes I did get the dance floor. I also did get the Mariachi band for cocktail hour. I was charged $ 600 for 45 minutes.

I would love to see a video made by funever so if you get a link or anything would love if you could pass that info along. Have fun and Good Luck down there.

Hi back, my daughter is getting married april 24 at the gran caribe and we are just going to have the in house photographer with one of the cheaper packages because we know everyone will have their cameras with them. What are you doing about your reception, thats where we are having problems, we can't decide on which menu to have, we are meat and potatoes kind of people, not really into seafood, we would like to have the buffet but patty said it has to be at least 40 people and we think there will be 30-35. And was wondering what you are doing about flowers, I thought the prices were a little high so was wondering if anyone checked outside the resort at flower shops. Thanks and I hope this helped you a bit.

Hi, I did get a couple brochures with just pictures from the funever but I didn't see any videos, if you don't mind me asking what are you doing about your reception, we are taking the classic wedding package and then the reception in a private area with 5 hours of bartender and waiter service with the meal.

Hi Carolyn, I was just wondering if you know anything about the hairdressing and flower shops, are there outside flower shops or do we hae to go with the in house prices and the grasn does not have a hair salon so we have to go next door to the sister resort was just wondering if you have any different ifnformation on this. We are from Canada and need to get an aposilles, did you have to get that done too? Thanks for any and all info.

Hi, Iam so glad to find someone who has gone down to see and check things out, about the dance, I thought with having the reception and the five hours of bartender and waiter service we would just have the meal a few speeches and the turn some music on and have a couple hours for a dance, do we hae to rent a different area for the dance or can we just have it along with the reception, I guess I should ask patty, everytime I ask patty a question it cost me more money, ha ha, oh well I guess thats what a wedding is all about . Thanks for you information.

Hi Ladies,

I am sorry for my delay getting back to you, I am leaving tomorrow ¡!! Cancun here we go!!

I promise, I´ll back to you with information, Woww Mannia very expensive, I know there is a lot of good comments from mannia, but why don´t try with other guy?

Florist - Paty told me we can´t bring in an outside florist!! So I have to meet her.

DJ - Fee 100 US per person.

My ceremony will be at the Gazebo, and reception next to the Gazebo there is a private area, with private bar service and waiters included in the same price.

Don´t need t rent a private area, if you are paying for the service the area is included.

See yaaa

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
