What drives you nuts?

Recommended Posts

I have an addition.

4. My man paints and he does so with spray paint. Doesn't matter which closet you open it is filled with empty and full cans of spray paint. It's gotten to the point that he is even storing it on the balcony now! My apartment is being invaded! Not to mention there is paint on everything he owns. Good clothes or not it's got at least one blob of paint on it.

These are so hilarious. I love reading this and being like OMG forgot about that one! Namely the powdered workout drinks (EDROSA) and my FI's inability to clean the blender. And also the sheets being un-tucked and how i'm TOTALLY guilty of cranking up the heat because i'm always cold and it drives him nuts!!

Does anyone else's FI/DH put glasses in the dishwasher upside-down so when you go to unload it they are literally FILLED with water?

Josie - mine does! I open the dishwasher and usually one or two of them actually falls out and soaks me.

Come to find out, he does it on purpose. He hates doing dishes so he does them sooo bad that I just do them myself. Passive aggressive much?!

Love this.

He drives me nuts when:

1. He puts his stinky workout clothes in the hamper instead of directly in the washing machine. They seriously stink up the entire room.

2. He leaves the blender and glass from his "protein shakes" in the sink and doesn't rinse them out. That stuff is dries like concrete!

3. He refuses to put the throw pillows on the bed when he makes it and leaves them on the floor as if they're reserved only for when I make the bed.

4. He NEVER gets the mail - even if I'm out of town for days.

I drive him nuts when I:

1. Program two things at once on the DVR so he can't watch anything he likes

2. Give him wedding tasks

3. Remind him of the things that drive me nuts listed above

2. Doesn't get haircuts! I hate when his hair starts to grow out and he doesn't get a cut at least get a shape-up!
3. Talks very Loud when he is on the phone with his friends or on the x-box 360 headset!
4. Doesn't clean the toilet. * won't go into details* disgusting!

For him:
1. I talk to much
2. Talk over him and don't allow him to finish his sentence
3. nag
4. Always question him instead of just doing what he ask

Oh so many things drive me crazy. Let's see...

- he talks alot! (He's a hairdresser so it's good for the job, but bad for me!)

- his clothes are ALL over our apt. Socks, boxers, shirts, belts, pants. It's like he walks around doing strip shows after I've gone to bed at night.

- he apparently doesn't know how to close a cabinet door

- when he's just standing there talking to someone, he lifts his shirt up in the back and puts his hands on his hips, but that makes like 8 inches of skin show. I don't know why, but it really rubs me the wrong way when he stands like that. Petty, right?!

What drives him crazy?

- I hate getting my picture taken. For instance, the other day we were house shopping and he was trying to take a picture of a room and I hid behind the curtain rather then be in the photo.

- my self-loathing really pisses him off

- I never take my dog outside. Hey, I have to travel 1.5 hours to work every morning and he goes like 5 minutes, so shoot me for not wanting to waste an additional 10 minutes of sleep standing outside so my dog can shit!

- I am no suzy-homemaker (not a good cook, cleaner, etc)

- I am not real crazy about open-mouth kissing. I much prefer some nice smooches.

I am sure there is more, but that's just to start off!

OMG, this is the best thread ever! How funny!

For him: always hits the snooze button

turns the tv from one station to another, never seeing one full program,

procrastinator- our wedding is 1 month away he still hasnt gotten his guys together to get their groomsmen gear (WTF)

monday night poker-its like having a giant frat party in your garage once a week

for me: watching sci fi movies- he hates it!

nagging him (usually about procrastinating and poker night)

that I make him pay for the maid (she comes tues after mon nite poker)

i don't understand the importance of poker (whatever)

neat freak

i cant pull my truck out of the garage (that is if unless he wants me to hit his truck)

I am sure I am leaving quite a few things out that bug him about me!!1

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
