What drives you nuts?

Recommended Posts

For me its the little lectures I get! wink.gif

They are usually for my own good but I started calling my FI Dad for fun! I swear I think he thinks it is my first day one earth. Some how he doesn't undderstand that I manged just fine before he come along. But this is also one of the things I love about him. He cares so much.

The shaving hairs thing is more "normal" than I thought!! I have to ask him to PLEASE clean the sink and mirror when he is done. I get mad when I have JUST cleaned the bathroom and he does it.

Also, he flosses and clips his nails in bed. Sometimes he just brushes the nails off the bed onto the carpet (he does this with the dog's nails too - I know, gross!). Then he says he will vaccuum them up tomorrow. Does he? NO!!!

And, hes a scary driver. I always compliment him when we have gotten somewhere and I haven't had a heart attack or grabbed the oh S&%# Bar!!

Last - ne NEVER wears his ring. He is really bad about remembering to put it on. I hide it sometimes

What annoys him?

Who knowshuh.gif I am really bad at decision making. And I get stressed fairly easily. Plus I am really really type A and I am sure it annoys him whe I re-do things that he has just done (ie. vaccuuming when he does that....re-stacking the dishes in the dishwasher).

OMG - this is my DH!! He doesn't even trust me with a knife to cut veggies

So things that drive me crazy about him
* like many of your FI/DHs he leaves his shave hairs in the sink...ew!
* leaves socks EVERYWHERE and then complains he can never find them
* has long pauses when he talks....ahh just get to the point :)

Things that drive him crazy:
* I cant load the dishwasher properly
* I steal the blankets at night
* I always need to be on time and "nag" him to hurry up all the time

haha, I do this...and it may annoy him, but he is the worst dishwasher stacker in the world. I can fit four glasses in a space where he puts two. For some reason, he doesn't think the dishes should touch. If I leftthe dishwasher his way, we'd have to run it every six hours!

There are a few other things he does that drive me crazy, no matter how much I love him
-he'll leave his dirty clothes ON TOP of the hamper, rather than put them inside. Why? I don't know, but it drives me bananas
-he has the worst memory, and I have become the personal datebook for EVERYTHING...family dinners, outings with friends, doctor's appointments, anything.
-crumbs on the counter. Whether he uses a plate, or a cutting board, or whatever, he always leaves crumbs on the counter and doesn't wipe them up.

I'm far from perfect myself though
-I can't make a decision to save my life, mostly because I really am fairly easy going and will pretty much go along with whatever anyone else wants to do, but it drives him crazy when we're trying to plan an evening out together.
-I'm a tad bit fussy (aka, neat freak) and tend to put things away before he's finished with them. I don't mean to, it's just habit...I see a utensil left on the counter, or an empty glass on the table, I put it in the dishwasher.
- I fold t-shirts "wrong". He likes them folded so that the collar is fully visible, but I just can't do it. So he now folds his t-shirts, and I fold mine...when he remembers. Otherwise he has a pile of t-shirts sitting in the basket waiting for him.

OMG!! My FI's theory is "the counters are granite, you can't see the crumbs anyway" SICK!!!!

Oh and he also hates folding laundry! He will do a whole load and leave it sitting in the basket for weeks......then its wrinkled and instead of ironing it, he re-washes it.....lol so annoying!

Mine does this too! I gave up. I refuse to do his laundry now - if he runs out of clean clothes it's not my problem!

For me:

*He SNORES soooo loudly at night!

*He sets his alarm wayyy too early as well, lets it go off every five minutes, and presses snooze for over an hour.

*Leaves dishes out after he eats or cooks and waits forever to put them away.

For him:

*I hog the bed (lay across it horizontally when I sleep)

*Watch the tv channel slice (reality tv) and he hates it

*I ask him to get rid of spiders and other bugs.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
