What drives you nuts?

Recommended Posts

Haha this thread is fun!

It drives me nuts when:

-He never cleans the sink after shaving so there are little tiny hairs everywhere

-He always forgets to put fabric softner in the laundry

-I bet when I get home tonight the George Foreman will still be dirty from his supper last night

It drives him nuts when I:

-Hit snooze 8 times in the morning

-Always leave a little bit of drink in my glass instead of just finishing it

-Never want to drive. I hate driving so I always make him do it

Oh and I forgot one and it probably bugs me the most...

the way he loads the dishwasher...dishes are all over the places, glasses are rightside up, it takes so much longer to put away and some stuff doesn't get clean because it's on top of something. ERGHH

Seriously.......when FI and I moved in together I made him throw out the foreman he shared with his roommate. They literally never washed it and there was so much grease it was ruined! sick!

OMG, I do the same thing! I feel so confined if the sheets are tucked in. It's not a big deal at home because I just don't tuck the sheets in at the bottom when I make the bed. But at hotels, that's the first thing I do when we're getting ready to go to bed, lol.

I am with you on the snooze and driving. He'll ask me the night before if the next morning can be a "one-snooze" morning. wink.gif

I cannot believe I forgot this one! It's probably the thing that drives me the most nutty! Cabinets, drawers, it's like he thinks little elves are going to close them for him...elves or me

Oh, and when he opens a drawer to take out a knife or a fork while I'm in the kitchen with him, I'll always bump into it and end up with a bruise because he doesn't close it...you'd think I'd learn, but then again, you'd think he'd learn!

Good thing I love him as much as I do!

***I guess all of the above can really be sub topics for #1!
OMG we must be related - His biggest thing with me is that I ask too many questions!
I interrupt him.
My cats and I both shed a lot.

for me it drives me nuts when he
brushes and flosses in the shower and leaves the used floss in the shower!!!
clips his nails in front of me - I hate the sound SO MUCH
Saying "I seen that" instead of " I've seen that" (I have a degree in English, a Teaching license and my mom was a teacher. You can't do that in front of me) I correct him. It's getting better. The rest of his grammar is perfect so it's strange he has that one problem.
And he loses EVERYTHING - he lost $500 cash one day - luckily I found it for him. He has lost 2 sets of keys, credit cards, a box of tiles, parts to his motorcycles, clothes...he is the real absent minded professor.

This thread is hilarious!! I've come to the following conclusion...

Either ALL men are the same...OR...we are all marrying the SAME man!!

I will post mine later...have to give it some careful thought and consideration...because to narrow it down to only 3 or 4 each...hmmmm?!?! Hahahahahaha...

Ok, this is too funny. He's displaying one of my pet peeves right now...

Whenever I'm on the computer (esp BDW or Facebook) he wants to know what I'm doing. Like right now, I'm LMAO at this thread, and he's like "what's so funny?" what am I supposed to say, "uhh, all of these ladies are married to/ marrying my FH!"

The the shaving thing- problem is he NEVER shaves, and when he does, he uses a face cloth to clean up the sink hairs, then PUTS IT BACK! uuggghhh!!!

I know I make him mad with my loud, sometimes sharp temper. I've been known to curse out cabbies.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
