I had my BD shoot with Stephany from EyeSpy (EyeSpy Photography = cool photos of babies, kids, and pets!) this past Saturday and she’s already gotten some amazing pictures back to me!! Stephany will be coming to Punta Cana with us next spring, but since she’s from MN we knew it would be hard to meet her before we left for the wedding. To remedy this, we decided to fly her out to Cincinnati for a weekend to have her do our engagement pictures! After unsuccessfully trying to find a BD photographer around here that I liked I remembered how much I loved Stephany’s photos from her website and asked her to come out a day earlier to shoot some BD pictures for me (we told FI we needed an extra day to scout out picture locations).

 

She actually ended up doing a shoot with both myself and my FSIL Rhonda (it is her 20th wedding anniversary this year) and it was an absolute blast. She made us feel like every single picture she took was the sexiest thing she’d seen and it was the ultimate confidence boost! While we did our own hair, we had two local makeup artists (Welcome to Brideface) come and they did two looks on each of us. If you have to choose between one or the other, unless you’re REALLY knowledgeable with makeup, I would pay to have it professionally done and do your hair yourself. It makes you feel BEAUTIFUL and it really shines through in pictures!!

 

Okay, enough babbling! Here is some of the magic that Stephany worked… I honestly think these are the best pictures of me ever taking, which says a lot about her awesomeness!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
