I am getting very excited. But nervous at the same time. Not nervous to be married, but nervous about whether the guests will have a good time, what if they hate Cabo, what if we have a hurricane? But it's like Jay says - "Rae, it's the sun, sand, and beach, how can you not have a good time?"

Is creative memories a good place to buy stuff from? What about local scrapbooking stores? I also some some things at Michaels & walmart, do they sell good stuff or is it junk?
I started SB'ing by using CM, so I am partial to their products. It's like anything else, you get what you pay for. I love their albums, and will not use anything else. As for stuff at Mike's & AC Moore, if you stick with the "big" names (Chatterbox, SEI, Bazzill, etc) you will be fine. The biggest thing is to look for items that are acid/lignen free and buffered if you can find them. If you don't use acid/lignen free, your pages will turn yellow after a while.

You are my idol, I'm more like the DIY princess, you are still the queen. The slides were done just to post on the board, yea I know, like I have nothing else to do. :-)

Here is the printable version of our welcome letter. The welcome tags were done in Adobe Photoshop Elements, and if I flatten them to post them on here you won't be able to use them. Right now, they are about 6 layers. You have to do the layers in order to get everything just right.

Wow! Stephanie. . .you're amazing!! Everything you chose, made and planned looks spectacular! Kudos to you!! I'm extremely impressed!! It's fun to see how much you've accomplished...but also I think this will be a great inspiration for brides who are just beginning all their planning.

Just make a list of everything you would "like" to do, put it in an order, and just start. Really, I've done all of this over the last 2 weeks. I love the pressure.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
