Stephanie (RAENJAY) Random Planning (Pic Heavy)

Recommended Posts

I loved it when Nicole (I think) and Sarah shared all their random planning ideas with everybody, so I thought I would do the same.

I guess I should say a little about what I learned - my Xyron Xyron | Create-A-Sticker and the double sided red stick tape are my new best friends. I love that stuff. If you plan on doing a lot of DIY paper products invest in a GREAT paper trimmer - it's worth it in the end, unstraight cuts drive me insane. Also, buy double of everything. Really. I purchased 48 pieces of the Cool Carribbean paper from Stampin' Up, had thought I would need only about 23 pages. I have 1 left. REALLY. Prioritize. I made a list of all my DIY projects, and started with the most important. Guess what, I'm going to get everything done. But have a plan before you begin.

Don't sweat the small stuff, I know it's hard to say, but really nobody is going to know that you wanted to have sparklers but didn't get them ordered in time. Most of all, remember, it's you and your fiance's day ~ make it special for you, not everybody else.

Be warned, it's going to be pic heavy, and this isn't everything. I'll post each photo in it's own "reply"....

I got the wording for the welcome letter from a Knottie (mrspresley, I think)... Here it is:

Dear Family and Friends,

The wait is finally over! Welcome to sun, sand and relaxation… welcome to Cabo San Lucas! We are both so happy and feel very blessed to be able to have our wedding here at the RIU Palace! We are especially honored that you have traveled this far to be a part of our marriage celebration.

Included is some information to help make your stay a wonderful experience. Enjoy the "goodies" included in this welcome bag. They are just a small token of our appreciation.

Please make the most of your stay here in Cabo San Lucas. We hope that the next few days will be as memorable for you as it will be for us.

With Love and Appreciation,

Stephanie & Jason

I really like the idea of everybody sharing their photos so I'm asking them with this card. Here is the wording:

See & Share Your Photos

If you are taking digital photos this weekend, wouldnâ€t

you be so kind as to share them with us and others? Log

onto Kodakgallery.com*: Print, Store & Share Digital Photos—Order Kodak Prints, Photo Books, Cards & Gifts & create an album for your photos.

Donâ€t have a digital camera? Ask for a CD of your photos,

which can then be uploaded to an online album.

We can then link them to our wedding website

for everyone to see.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
