Hey everyone!

My DH just sent me this cool link of a how-to for FB. Basically, it tells you how to filter your newsfeed so you only get updates on people you want to see updates on...thank goodness! This will be especially useful for people with hundreds of friends on their friends' list. Who could possibly keep up or would want to keep up with that many updates? I tested it out just now and it works perfectly so I figured I'd share the info with you all! cheesy.gif

How To Filter Out Facebook "Friends" Without Them Knowing

lol Erika! I have a few groups created on my FB and I control what they can see on my page and what they can't...it's mostly for people like my jerkass BIL who "friended" me a few months ago even though we're not anywhere near being friends at all lol (we kind of hate each other). I think he just friended me because he wanted to increase his count rofl.gif

I know or work people. There is totally an OVERLY NOSEY girl at work who friended me, so I blocked her from seeing my pics and then removed her as a friend a few weeks later. I dont know if she ever noticed or not.

Seriously she is way to nosey, she always listens to peoples phone calls, tries to see what is on thier comp screen, and asks in appropriate questions. Like how much money another co-workers FI makes. So wierd. Seriously who asks that!!!

Aw that's the worst Erika! I have a co-worker that is exactly like that on my FB friends list. I haven't deleted her yet (though I want to) but I have her totally blocked. When I got back from my wedding and put a few pics on FB for my family to see, she went around on her FB showing other people in the office MY pics. Like wtf is wrong with you lady? You need to show people who I don't really know very well in the office my personal stuff? That's just plain rude IMO. After that, I made my blocked list and my safe list lol, I was so pissed.

Andi - You can "test" whether or not people can see pics/stuff on your page. Go in to "Settings" and then click on "Privacy Settings" then click on "Profile". After that at the top of the page you'll see something that says "See how a friend sees your profile:" and then a box where you can type in people's names. Type in the name of the person you want to view your FB stuff as and it'll show you what their screen looks like when they are on your page. It's pretty neat!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
