Turtle Bay Bakery & Cafe??

Recommended Posts

I emailed Turtlebay and heard back right away. Try emailing at: [email protected] or maybe contact the girl who emailed me, Jennifer, at: [email protected]

I had emailed asking for pricing on the 1st cake that comes up, the one with the shells, for approx 20 guests. This was her response:

Hi Amy,

Yes we could do a smaller version, maybe a 2 tiered cake. Your choice of cake, recommend buttercream frosting. With the white chocolate shells & delivery the total would be $155. We have beautiful silver cake stands that the cake are on. All cake tiers are four layers, we can do fruit layers in the middle. Please let me know if I can answer anyother quesitons.

Jennifer was very quick to respond. Let me know if you get through to her.

Got a reply!

Hi Stacy,

For a cake similiar to below for 25 people plus delivery to Bahia would be $150 usd. The cake would be on a silver cake stand. Your choice of flavor..anything from vanilla, tres leches, chocolate, carrott, coconut, lemon, etc... It's your day so whatever you like! Lots of time to make that decision. Let me know if can answer anyother questions for you.

Jennifer

Stacy, did you ask Bahia if you could bring in your own cake? This looks like a great option to me, and it's pretty cheap, I'm just worried Bahia won't let you bring it in.

Okay I asked Jazmin if I could bring in a cake and this was her response:

"About the cake question, yes you can, but of course the hotel is not responsible If the cake is not in good condition ( It is very obvios, but I prefer remind it)"

So I don't think they mind. Good luck!

  • 1 month later...

little late here but we used turtle bay for our cupcake wedding cake and it was AWESOME!!! jennifer the owner was so helpful with flavors and design. we had our wedding in akumal so it was probably a bit easier but she held the cupcakes at her shop until right before it was served so the heat wouldn't get to it, came to pick up flowers from the ceremony to decorate the cake to help save us money, and did a fantastic job setting it up. they were soooo yummy and lots of our guests commented on how good there were. the food is fantastic as well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
