Hello, All! I'm brand new and have a question about reservations and invitations.
My fiance and I are planning on having our wedding at The Caves in Negril. I was told they were unable to hold rooms for our guests for more than 48 hours. This puts us and our guests in quite a bind as A) not all will be able to plop down a $1700-3000 deposit within 24 hours and what does this mean for our invitations if we will have to call all of our guests to tell them they have to book a reservation immediately, long before the invitations go out?
Even though some guests will no angry about the situation, we must give them a call asap before the resort books. So all guests know when/what/where do you think the etiquette would be about sending out invitations?
Any suggestions about how to tell our guests the good (and bad news)?
