I know this is a bit premature.. but i want to have a baby..

I deliver babies for a living and I'm starting to feel envious! haha It's kind of bad timing, with the economy Fi's job is not secure, and we have a lot of student debt.. Lately though, I find myself almost aching to start that part of my life.. nothing would make me happier than to throw birth control to the wind starting the month of our wedding! alas.. i think i will be waiting..

what are your baby-having plans?? Do you have some already? planning to have a honeymoon baby? waiting a while? Any words of wisdom? thanks ladies!

We are also waiting. We say after about 3 years we will start trying. I have school, the economy is bad, etc...but as many in my family says: It's never easy and there is always an excuse why you should wait...there is never a perfect moment or time...the time to have a baby is the time when you want one and when you truly can devote time to them...the rest will fall into to place. I want to finish school first and enjoy being married for a while first so that whole time part is holding me back..lol..What does your hubby 2 B think??

We had planned to start trying during the honeymoon. However, I need to take a month or so of b/c or my monthly friend will start on my wedding day. Totally sucks...but we will start trying soon. We have lived together for over a year and have dated for almost 3 yrs...He wants one more than I do.

I have to agree with Koolatta. There is never really a "right time." My FI and I had our son (unplanned) while we were renting an apartment, had both just returned to full time school while working full time jobs, and with absolutely no savings or plans on buying a house. In a matter of 2 months we had purchased a home, paid off all of our debt, and luckily both of us are able to still continue with school. I guess what I'm saying as that Koolatta is right, that things will just fall into place.

My Fi wants one too, he's just worried about money, the economy etc.. and i understand that.. I have a 'female' problem thought that results in me ovulating only about 4 times a year.. so that also makes me anxious to try earlier, because I know that it could take a really long time.

I have to agree with her. It'll just be me, FI and our two dogs.

Maybe, 5 years down the line after we're married we'll have children, maybe...

I want babies too!! Sadly, I will be waiting though. My FI has just signed himself to go back to school in September. A decission I know that will be the best in the long run but me being a very non-patient person it's a hard one to deal with.

Alas, I have 2 sisters and 2 sister-in-laws-to-be that are all due before the end of 2009. Babies, babies everywhere. Hopefully that will hold me over for the few extra years I am going to have to wait.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
