You guys have packed already?!! Guess I better get on it! We are having everyone meet at the house where we will hand out the OOT bags...so they can pack those themselves wink.gif. From my experience at all-inclusives, I remember basically living in my bathing suit and cover-up...a few nice dresses for the evening and maybe a few tshirts and shorts and voila! I'm packed. LOL.

Ladies, I need a hug...I checked the weather for Ocho Rios and it looks like the entire week will be filled with rain and/or cloudiness.worried2.gifmsncry.gif

wishing anyone who is leaving soon the best wedding day ever! cheesy.gif can't wait to see all the pics!

We're also flying Air Transit and this isn't the case for us...?! Apparently its as usual, one checked bag at 44lbs, and one carry on each. I can carry on my dress also. They did say however that no one will be allowed out of their seat 1 hour prior to landing, and just to be extra careful what you pack in your carry on... I guess it depends on your destination.

For all of the Canadian Brides who are flying through or to the USA, be aware that you are not permitted to bring on any carry-on items! This includes your wedding gown. We're flying Air Canada from Halifax through Montreal to Fort Lauderdale and I inquired with both the airline and two different flight security agents and the temporary carry-on restrictions are in full force. Ladies, you're allowed to bring a small purse, but absolutely no personal items are permitted. Just be careful what you're packing in advance. I'd hate for anyone to get caught having to throw valuable items away at security after your baggage has already been checked.

Happy Weddings to my fellow January Brides! The time has finally come. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
